Women’s Golf League

Ortonville Women’s Golf League

The women’s golf league consists of two person teams that play match play on a nine or 18 hole league for approximately 12 weeks. They also have gross and net tournaments, skins, and weekly games (optional). Their league normally starts mid-May and ends mid-August. A USGA GHIN handicap is required and included with league dues.

Match-play is two-member teams playing against each other in a hole-by-hole competition using each person’s course handicap.

Weekly games are optional for $1 each week. Games include low putts, low net, odd or even holes only, blind partner, etc.

Skins games are optional. A four-person team is randomly created each week using A-B-C-D players. The three lowest scores are compared to other teams scores, with the lowest score on each hole earning money.

You can join as a team or as an individual and they will try to match you up with a partner or welcome you as a substitute. .

Reminder to Utility Customers

Reminder to City of Ortonville utility customers that you can view your utility bill, see options to make a payment, and submit water and dual meter readings on the City of Ortonville website. (LINK: https://mnortonville.com/utility-payment-options/ )
Please turn in a dual meter reading each month. Our computer system cannot read those automatically.
It is helpful if you can turn in a water meter reading every 3-4 months just to make sure what you see on your meter matches up with what our computer reading shows.

Please Read Your Water Meter in August

The City of Ortonville requests that all residential and commercial customers please read your water
meters. Our computers connect to the meters to pull a reading once per month. As we all know,
computers don’t always work the way they should. To make sure you are being billed correctly, we are
requesting that our customers read their water meters in August and report your reading to the City
Office. The readings can be written on the back of your utility bill card and returned with your payment,
called into the office at 320-839-3428, or you may submit your readings online at
https://mnortonville.com/government/enter-meter-readings/ . Customers may use whichever method
is most convenient. We appreciate your cooperation.
