Ortonville Snow Emergency

The City of Ortonville has declared a snow emergency. All vehicles should be removed from the roadways during the overnight hours. Plowing will begin in the early morning hours at a time yet to be determined based on overnight weather.

Vehicles left parked on the roadways are subject to ticketing and towing. If your vehicle was towed or you receive a citation you can contact the Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

Repeated plowing will likely occur over the next several days as winds are expected to increase over the next few days resulting in blowing and drifting snow.
